Orange County Registrar of Voters is committed to protecting each voter's right to cast a ballot easily and securely.
SANTA ANA, Calif. — Oct. 5, 2026 — Voting in the Nov. 3, 2026, General Election has begun.
Ballots are being mailed to all active registered voters in Orange County.
Voters have four options to cast a ballot during this election starting today:
- Mail the ballot on or before Election Day (no postage required). For mailbox locations, visit ocvote.gov/mail.
- Use one of 128 secure ballot drop box locations in Orange County. For locations, visit ocvote.gov/dropbox.
- Drop off the ballot in person at any Vote Center in Orange County.
- Vote in person at any Vote Center in Orange County.
Starting Saturday, Oct. 24, select Vote Centers will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. From Saturday, Oct. 31 through Monday, Nov. 2, all Vote Centers will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Election Day, all Vote Centers will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Returning a Vote-By-Mail ballot early or voting an in-person ballot helps the Registrar of Voters report the votes from more ballots on Election Night. About 90 percent of Vote-By-Mail ballots received before Election Day are regularly included in the first Unofficial Election Results report.
