Deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot on Tuesday


SANTA ANA, CA - The Orange County Registrar of Voters is reminding voters that the deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot for the November 8, 2016 Presidential General Election is approaching. Applications must be received by midnight on Tuesday, November 1, 2016. 

Applications from registered voters may be dropped off at the Registrar of Voters (1300 South Grand Avenue, Santa Ana) up to 5:00 p.m. on November 1, 2016. Voters also have the option to fax their application to the Registrar of Voters or apply online until midnight November 1, 2016. 

Vote-by-mail ballots received before Election Day are processed prior to Election Day and are the first results reported on Election Night.

WHEN: Tuesday, November 1, 2016 (by midnight)

WHO: Any voter registered in Orange County

HOW: Online applications can be found at: ocvote.gov/votebymail or fax application to 714-567-7556
