On October 7, 2025, the Huntington Beach City Council adopted an election integrity resolution drafted by Unite4Freedom. At the urging of Huntington Beach residents, the City Council on October 21, 2025 voted to invite County of Orange Registrar of Voters Bob Page to present to the Council at a future meeting to address their concerns about election security. The election security study session was held on November 18, 2025.
Background
In April 2025, Unite4Freedom on JoeHoft.com published a claim that 21% of the 1.4 million ballots cast in the 2024 Presidential General Election were inadmissible, because allegedly the voters did not exist, they were not eligible, or their registration was not legally compliant. Over a three-week period, the Registrar of Voters attempted to gain access to Unite4Freedom’s data and analysis. Unite4Freedom rejected the Registrar of Voters’ request. In a report dated November 13, 2025, Unite4Freedom has adjusted its claim of inadmissible ballots to 15.7%.
