Wahoo's Fish Taco Joins Corporate Sponsorship Agreement to Support Upcoming Election

Wahoo's Fish Taco employees will serve as poll workers in the upcoming Presidential Election

SANTA ANA - Today the Orange County Registrar of Voters is proud to announce Wahoo’s Fish Taco as the latest brand to join their unique corporate sponsorship program for 2016. The Orange County Registrar of Voters corporate sponsorship program is designed to engage businesses in the election process by having them provide technology services or volunteers to work the polls.

"We are very excited about Wahoo’s Fish Taco becoming a partner," said Neal Kelley, Orange County Registrar of Voters. "Wahoo’s Fish Taco has demonstrated strong support of the communities they do business in and we are pleased they are helping us meet the needs of thousands of volunteers for the 2016 Presidential Election," he continued.

In support of this agreement, Wahoo’s Fish Taco is providing professional staff members to work as volunteers at polling places across Orange County for the November 8, 2016 Presidential General Election. Their responsibilities will be to attend a poll worker training class, serve at their polling place and help voters through the process on Election Day.

"Wahoo is proud to be a sponsor of the Orange County Registrar of Voters,” says Ed Lee, Co-Owner, Wahoo’s Fish Taco. "This is a great way in how we can be part of and support our community!”.

Wahoo’s started in 1988 in a small location near the beach in Costa Mesa, CA. Three brothers took their love of surf and food to create a unique restaurant that serves up a fresh, light and tasty fusion of Brazilian, Asian and Mexican fare.

The customers are what make Wahoo’s succeed and stand out. Wahoo’s is proud to have a loyal and steady following of customers who are dedicated to “their” Wahoo’s location.

Today, there are Wahoo’s Fish Taco restaurants throughout California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, Texas, Nebraska, Pennsylvania and Japan.

Wahoo’s Media Contact is Jun Roxas at 949-235-8167 ([email protected]).
