Rock the Vote and Registrar of Voters Team Up to Offer Free Concert at Aliso Creek Beach

Joint event designed to promote voter registration and poll worker recruitment to feature popular Orange County band Bristol to Memory

SANTA ANA, CA – The Registrar of Voters and Rock the Vote will be hosting a free concert by popular recording artists Bristol to Memory, Saturday, September 17, 2016 at noon at Aliso Creek Beach in Orange County.

The Registrar of Voters has been hosting “Surf the Vote” events in coastal cities in Orange County during the summer. The events are designed to raise awareness about the upcoming Presidential Election and to encourage young people to volunteer to work during the November election.

Rock the Vote is a national organization whose mission is to engage and build political power for young people in this country. During its history Rock the Vote has registered more than 5 million young people to vote and has become a trusted source of information for individuals wanting to learn more about registering to vote and casting a ballot.

Bristol to Memory has continued to expand their scope with tours across the Western United States, Canada and most recently the Midwest and Eastern United States. They have also had music featured on several national television networks such as MTV, Oxygen Channel, and Fox Sports West with the Los Angeles Angels Baseball Club. Along with their TV success, they have played the stages of Van’s Warped Tour, SXSW Music Festival, House Of Blues, The Roxy, The Whiskey and many more. With more than eight years of touring and recording under their belt, the band is well adapted to the road and ready for more.
