SANTA ANA, CA – February 7, 2025 – The Orange County Registrar of Voters has posted a voter experience survey on its website as part of its ongoing commitment to conducting accessible elections that meet the needs of Orange County voters.
The Registrar of Voters encourages all Orange County voters to participate in this brief survey to tell us about their voting experience during the 2024 Presidential General Election.
To complete the survey voters should visit ocvote.gov/eap or click on this link: Voter Experience Survey.
In preparation for the 2025 review and potential update of the County’s Election Administration Plan, the Registrar of Voters partnered with the California Institute of Technology to develop the voter experience survey to gather input from Orange County voters.
“We want voters to tell us what they think about how we conduct elections and how we might improve access to voting in compliance with the California Voter’s Choice Act. We need voter input about the elections we have conducted to help inform the review of our Election Administration Plan,” said Bob Page, Registrar of Voters.
The Plan addresses the Registrar of Voters’ voter education and outreach program, operation of Vote Centers and Ballot Drop Boxes, provision of language and accessibility services, security measures, and contingency plans.
After the voter responses to the survey are reviewed, the Registrar of Voters will provide voters additional opportunities to provide input about the Election Administration Plan, including two public review and comment periods of at least 14 days and a public hearing.
The Registrar of Voters is currently developing a schedule for the 2025 Plan review. The Voter’s Choice Act mandates a review of the County’s Election Administration Plan in 2025 and submission of any Plan amendments to the California Secretary of State for approval no later than February 2, 2026.
To view the Orange County Registrar of Voters current Election Administration Plan or to sign up for its Interested Parties email list to receive updates about additional opportunities to provide input, voters are encouraged to visit ocvote.gov/eap.
