Notice is hereby given that a Special Recall Election will be held on June 4, 2024, in the City of Anaheim, District 3.
The purpose of this election is to determine whether the officer named in the recall petition, Natalie Rubalcava, shall be recalled. If a majority of the voters determine the officer should be recalled, the officer is removed and the office shall be vacant until it is filled according to law.
Notice is further given that starting Saturday, May 25, 2024, Vote Centers will be open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through May 31, 2024. Starting Saturday, June 1, 2024, Vote Centers will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. On Election Day, June 4, 2024, Vote Centers will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
All ballots cast will be counted centrally at the Orange County Registrar of Voters’ office, 1300 South Grand Avenue, Building C, Santa Ana.
Notice is further given that Vote-by-Mail ballot processing will begin on May 6, 2024 and will continue Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. until the election is certified on or about June 28, 2024. The last day to request a replacement Vote-by-Mail ballot to be mailed is May 28, 2024. The Vote-by-Mail process is open to the public at the Orange County Registrar of Voters’ office, 1300 South Grand Avenue, Building C, Santa Ana.
Notice is further given that the manual tally of specific precincts will begin on June 6, 2024 at the Orange County Registrar of Voters’ office, 1300 South Grand Avenue, Building C, Santa Ana.
