For the first time in decades a new ballot envelope has been released in time for the June Primary.
SANTA ANA, CA - The Registrar of Voters today announced the release of a new vote-by-mail envelope. The new design uses the same color and font palette as the Voter Information Guide.
The envelope size has changed from 4" x 10" to 6" x 9 3/4", providing a more functional platform for communicating important details to voters. In addition, the new envelope is full color, utilizing the same color palette as the Voter Information Guide, which was mailed to voters on April 26, 2018.
The envelope verbiage has been updated to focus on plain language - an important design element to ensure only the most important information is communicated to voters. The new envelopes also provide outbound and inbound tracking through the U.S. Postal System (previously voters could only track the outbound movement of their ballot).
