Legal Notice
The legal notice will explain to you the basic information pertaining to the election, including the election date, offices for which candidates can file, location for filing candidate documents, and where the votes will be counted. 

 

A Special Election will be on February 9, 2016 to fill one short-term seat on the North Orange County Community College District in Trustee Area 3.  To qualify for the office of North Orange County Community College District Governing Board Member, the candidate must be a registered voter in Trustee Area 3 of the North Orange County Community College District at the time of the issuance of Nomination Papers.

Notice is further given that Nomination Papers may be obtained at the office of the Orange County Registrar of Voters, 1300-C South Grand Avenue, Santa Ana, from October 19, 2015 through November 13, 2015, 5:00 p.m.

Notice is further given that all Orange County ballots cast in said election will be counted centrally at the Registrar of Voters’ office, 1300-C South Grand Avenue, Santa Ana.

Notice is further given that vote-by-mail ballot processing in Orange County will begin on January 11, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  The last day to request a vote-by-mail ballot is February 2, 2016.

Notice is further given that the manual tally of specific precincts will begin on February 10, 2016, at the Registrar of Voters’ office located at 1300-C South Grand Avenue, Santa Ana.
