Countdown to Voting – Ballot Drop Boxes
Voting for the November 3, 2026 General Election will open in 13 days. A Vote-By-Mail ballot will be mailed to all Orange County voters starting no later than Monday, Oct. 5, marking the start of the voting period. On that same day, 128 Ballot Drop Boxes will be open and will remain open 24/7 through 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3. For locations, visit our website at ocvote.gov/dropbox. Any voter who does not want to wait for a ballot to be delivered by the U.S. Postal Service, can visit Registrar of Voters (ROV) in Santa Ana on Oct. 5 to receive and vote a ballot. Our office is at 1300 S. Grand Ave., Building C, at the corner of Grand Avenue & McFadden Avenue. | Open House Reminder ROV is hosting an Open House on Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 4 to 7 p.m. at our headquarters, 1300 S. Grand Ave., Building C in Santa Ana. The Open House will enable you to view the various steps we take when processing ballots during each election. Members of the ROV team will demonstrate and answer questions about our processes to ensure elections are secure, fair, accurate, transparent and accessible. We will demonstrate:

| How to Verify Your Voter Registration Not sure if your voter registration is up to date? Do you need to update your address, name or political party? You can do all this and more at ocvote.gov/verify. Vote-By-Mail ballots will be mailed to the address we had on file on Sept. 4. If you have moved since then, update your registration and request a replacement ballot to be mailed to your new address starting Thursday, Oct. 8. The last day to register to vote or update your registration to have a ballot mailed to you for the November 3, 2026 General Election is Monday, Oct. 19.
