Disability Rights California names the Orange County Registrar of Voters’ Office a recipient of its Inaugural Awards for Outstanding Service to Voters with Disabilities

SANTA ANA, CA – December 16, 2022 – Disability Rights California (DRC) this week presented the Orange County Registrar of Voters’ Office with an Inaugural Award for Outstanding Service to Voters with Disabilities. This award recognizes the efforts of several staff members in ensuring that a voter with disabilities was able to complete her voter registration and cast her vote in the November 2022 election.

Orange County, CA Registrar of Voters Certifies California General Election Results

Prior to certifying the results, Registrar of Voters conducted several post-election voting system tests and audits.

SANTA ANA, CA - December 2, 2022 – Registrar of Voters Bob Page today certified the official Orange County results of the November 8, 2022 California General Election.

SANTA ANA, Calif. – The Orange County Registrar of Voters Bob Page reports that the most recent results of the 2022 General Election can be found on the County’s ROV website at Unofficial Election Results

This report is updated at 5 p.m. each weekday until the election is certified by the Registrar of Voters. After the Unofficial Election Results are posted each weekday, the What’s Left to Process report will be updated.

Effective Tuesday, November 8th at 4 a.m.: Evacuation Warning (Voluntary) Issued for Bond Fire Burn Area

Due to the Evacuation Warning (Voluntary), the Library of the Canyons will be closed on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. As such, the Vote Center held at the Library of the Canyons will be closed on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Residents may find a list of Vote Centers by going to ocvote.gov/votecenter.

Observation Schedule for November 8, 2022 General Election

SANTA ANA, CA – September 30, 2022 – The public is invited to observe as the Orange County Registrar of Voters conducts the November 8, 2022 General Election.

Candidate Filing Period Extended Through Aug. 17 for Select School and Special District Offices

When eligible incumbents do not file for re-election the filing period is extended. During the extended filing period for the 2022 Statewide General Election, any qualified candidates, other than incumbents are eligible to file.

This release was corrected on August 15, 2022 to remove the offices of Rancho Santiago Community College District Trustee Area 4 and Irvine Unified School District Trustee Area 4 from the list of contests that had the candidate filing period extended.
