High School Voter Education Weeks Recap
High School Voter Education Weeks Recap

Friday, September 27 marks the end of High School Voter Education Weeks-- a two-week, Secretary of State-sponsored initiative to conduct outreach to high school students to prepare them to vote and increase civic awareness.

During the two-week period, the Community Engagement team presented to students in 19 classrooms across several high schools and conducted teen-focused presentations at four libraries. They also set up registration drives during lunch periods at several high schools.

At these events, many students pre-registered or registered to vote at ocvote.gov/register and received information about the High School Student Volunteer Program.

The Registrar of Voters extends its gratitude to Orange County high schools and library staff for their collaboration.
