Open House
You are invited to an Open House at the Orange County Registrar of Voters on Tuesday, October 8, from 4 to 7 p.m.
The Registrar of Voters team is committed to conducting secure, fair, accurate, transparent, and accessible elections. We will demonstrate and answer questions about our secure processes, including:
- Collection of ballots from Ballot Drop Boxes and Vote Centers, utilizing chain-of-custody processes.
- Mail ballot signature comparison.
- Scanning of ballots and tabulation of votes.
- Testing and auditing of election equipment and software.

VIGs Mailing This Week
This week, your County Voter Information Guide is being delivered to the post office.
Your Guide provides trusted election information, explaining how, when, and where to vote in the 2024 Presidential General Election, including:
- The location and operation days of 184 Vote Centers and 123 Ballot Drop Boxes.
- A practice ballot.
- Candidate qualification statements.
- Impartial analyses of local measures.

How to Observe
In addition to being easy and secure, Orange County elections are always transparent. The Public Notice of Observation Schedule and Observer Guidelines Handbook are now available for the 2024 Presidential General Election.
If you are interested in observing election operations in person at the Registrar of Voters in Santa Ana or at any of the Vote Centers throughout the county, you can review these documents and other observation information at ocvote.gov/observe.

Language Assistance
All election materials including ballots and the County Voter Information Guides are available in English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, and Vietnamese. We also can provide reference ballots in Farsi (Persian), Gujarati, Hindi, Japanese, and Tagalog for eligible precincts in Orange County.
Voters will be able to receive assistance in all of these languages and American Sign Language from bilingual customer service representatives or through video conferencing at all Vote Centers. You may request a ballot or a reference ballot in a language other than English at ocvote.gov/language. |

The percentage of Orange County registered voters who cast ballots changes election to election.
- 2020 Presidential General – 87.3%
- 2022 Primary – 35.2%
- 2022 General – 54.7%
- 2024 Presidential Primary – 37.7%
